BigTaro's Tindie page calls Gunslinger-B-Gone an electronic badge with laser tag, a TV-B-Gone, a CTF, and an included Sheriff SAO; the page shows $100 and says it has been sold out since September 13, 2025. A separate Hacker Couture DEFCON 33 Product List independently lists a Gunslinger-B-Gone Badge by BigTaro at $140 and describes laser-tag play with the Sheriff SAO, making friends' badges light up, pointing an IR blast at a TV to power it down, CTF challenges, bling modes, Drinking Roulette, and a fully-programmable claim. BigTaro's Sheriff guide identifies the Sheriff companion as an RP2040-chip board, documents a CR2032 or LIR2032 battery holder with magnet and sticky pad, an independent battery switch, a standalone/wearable configuration, and an optional soldered SAO connection to the Gunslinger with the notch side up. These sources establish a real independent electronic-badge combo and a 2025 DEF CON vendor-list association, not a BadgeLife drop, official DEF CON issue, admission credential, complete IR or electrical specification, confirmed vendor handoff, firmware source release, or reusable-image rights.

Independent RP2040-Zero firmware project; physical build and event handoff unverified
MadmanTimmy3241's public repository describes itself as DEF CON 34 'Agency' SAO badge firmware for a Waveshare RP2040-Zero, and its commit-pinned source header calls the sketch DEF CON 34 "Agency" badge - V2. The public Arduino/C++ tree contains current display, scrolling, button, switch, buzzer, and infrared source paths, while dated first-person commit messages report staged local hardware smoke, display, input, and buzzer testing. The source header simultaneously says handshake, infrared, and logging logic is not wired up yet. This is sufficient to retain a distinct, independent pre-event event-labelled firmware-project record, not proof of a completed board, an event badge run, a compatible SAO, a delivered unit, DEF CON authorization, admission use, or a reusable image.
RP2040 CAN/CAN FD vehicle-network CTF badge, with post-event fulfillment unverified
Car Hacking Village publicly announced its DEF CON 34 CTF badge. Official Village posts identify an RP2040, DB9 CAN 2.0/CAN FD support, interactive power management, and a 12 V 1.5 A power supply; the public `chv_badgetools` repository identifies itself as host-side CAN utilities for the DEF CON 34 badge. The scheduled August 6-9 Las Vegas event window has elapsed, but reviewed post-date sources still do not prove final badge manufacture, allocation, handoff, CTF operation, or a released final firmware.
Small-batch pre-event RP2040 youth-coding giveaway badge for DEF CON 34
A late-July public r/Defcon post by u/ProfessionalPea2218 says its author has been designing and hand-soldering a small batch of badge PCBs to help launch Cyb3rBytes404, a self-described San Diego nonprofit for free hands-on youth coding and electronics projects. The author says the badges are not for sale and are intended for random giveaway throughout ‘the con.’ Separately, the public Cyb3rBytes404 GitHub repository calls itself the official repository for the cyber coding camp and documents a custom RP2040 cyber-cat badge, MicroPython starter material and challenges, an MPU-6050 motion module, and thirty WS2812 RGB LEDs. Its visible commit history places the reviewed README update on July 28, 2026. The shared project name supports a source-backed pre-event DEF CON 34 association, but it does not establish that the Reddit author controls the GitHub namespace, that every physical PCB matches the repository snapshot, final hardware, the run size, a completed giveaway, or a DEF CON-issued credential.
Pre-event RP2040 mechanical macropad BadgeLife project
DCZia's MK9 is a public-source 3×3 mechanical macropad intended as a neck-wearable DEF CON 34 BadgeLife project. Project documentation specifies nine MX switches, RGB per-key and edge lighting, an accelerometer, two 6-pin SAO connectors, USB-C or three-AAA power, CircuitPython firmware, and QMK-compatible hardware. A public August 2 announcement says the project plans BadgeLife pickup, but this remains a pre-event independent badge rather than an official DEF CON admission credential.
Maker-published physical silent-disco badge; organizer role and handoff unverified
LastZactionHero's public repository is titled DEF CON Silent Disco Badge and documents a wearable electronic badge that plays local DJ mixes, drives a music-linked light show, and syncs badge-to-badge over infrared. Its August 4 maintainer update says the boards were fabricated, assembled, and playing music, and that every badge's QR silkscreen points to the repository. The public archive contains KiCad design and fabrication material, firmware, and a MIT license, sufficient to record a distinct maker-published physical DEF CON 34-associated artifact. No reviewed DEF CON, venue, silent-disco organizer, sales, or handoff source establishes official issuance, a run size, recipient allocation, or completed event distribution.
Sold-out RP2040, LoRa, NFC, and LED community-event badge preorder
DEFCON Furs' official 2026 site and Hack Your Lives donation-store listing identify a distinct 2026 #badgelife badge for the DEF CON 34 period. The currently sold-out listing describes an assembled badge plus a blank PCB, an RP2040, LoRa radio, NFC, 48 RGB LEDs, MicroPython, touch points, and an SAO 1.69bis interface. It says paid orders will be assembled and shipped by September 30, while blanks were offered for in-person DEF CON pickup. Those are organizer-published preorder and planned-fulfillment statements, not proof that every order shipped, that each unit has the described final configuration, or that a specific recipient collected one.
Maker-documented RP2040 community eBadge with firmware, art, and SAO sources
RestiaAshdoll8's public DEFCON-SG-2026-Div0-Tingkat-eBadge repository says it contains source code and relevant files used in a physical Div0 Tingkak eBadge. It preserves a UF2, RP2040/Pico-focused source, artwork, and SAO project files. Its sources conflict on event identity: the repository title names DEF CON Singapore while its firmware menu banner says SINCON 2026 BADGE. This record keeps the DEF CON Singapore association maker-declared rather than resolving that conflict into official event status.
Completed independent RP2040 CRT-TV Simple Add-On
INSPECTRON 34 is an independent retro-CRT television-shaped Simple Add-On documented by its maker's post-conference public repository. The project records an RP2040, 16 MB flash, 1.14-inch ST7789V display, CircuitPython, USB-drive GIF loading, a DC34 right-port SAO design, and a completed DEF CON 34 run of about 20 sold boards. The post-conference handoff identifies V5 as the current released firmware. It is not an official DEF CON Human badge or admission credential.

Kai Pereira's public archive identifies these as Overglade hackathon badges designed for the completed Singapore game jam. The device has an RP2040, passive NFC, an onboard e-ink driver, and an exposed ticket-shaped PCB with public KiCad and MicroPython source trees. Official Hack Club pages establish the event, but not a badge entitlement or all-recipient allocation.

The official event site confirms the completed May 28-29 Gothenburg conference, while a contemporaneous attendee report credits Carl Vargklint's badge work. Allocation and delivery are not documented.
Pre-event sold-out RP2040 dual-SAO BadgeLife restock
Uberflux lists Shitty Kitty V2 under the `lipo` maker handle and Uberfoo Heavy Industries, with DEF CON 34 as its only listed drop. At this August 3 source pass, the $75 listing is marked OUT with zero remaining and 15 sold, and says new stock is available for DEF CON 34 pickup. Its maker-published description names dual 0.96-inch color IPS screens, an RP2040 platform, two fully connected 1.69bis SAO ports, USB-C, LiPo power/charging components, five user buttons, a boot button, and SkittyOS features. It also announces new firmware with graphics and puzzles, but provides no release link. This is a documented pre-event restock listing, not proof of final pickup, a completed firmware release, a reproduced engineering archive, or an official DEF CON admission credential.
