The DEF CON 33 Creator Events List independently schedules a Friday BadgeLife Community drop naming FightDystopia alongside Submarine and FrogStar. This establishes a source-backed independent 2025 electronic artifact and scheduled event association, not an official DEF CON credential, universal or completed handout, BLE detection mechanism, security or privacy assurance, firmware source release, party-benefit accounting, or reusable-image rights.

Two contemporaneous project posts authored by the public Reddit account u/zer0patient and signed H4irl1n3 M0gg3r5 describe an independent planned DEF CON 34 Zombie Badge project. The later source explicitly describes two objects using ESP32-S3, IR, NFC, BLE, a buzzer, and a source-described transmission/counter relationship; it also announces a firmware-based, multi-stage CTF and an unreleased backend. It further describes crew-operated live transmission zones, fixed Cure Stations, hidden 3D-printed medkit props, and a separate brain-in-a-jar SAO. The earlier post calls the work the team's first year making badge or badges, says a second variant is part of the experience, and announces intended drop-based distribution. It names a XIAO ESP32-S3, 8 MB flash, a 400 mAh 3.7 V LiPo, 1.69-inch 240 by 280 Waveshare LCD, six RGB LEDs, vibration motor, and external SMA-RP 2.4 GHz antenna path. Pips801's public repository contains separate hardware and firmware/UI trees, while the public DEF CON 34 Badgelife response identifies DC801 + 801 Labs' Helgatchi as a new badge associated with the August event. The listing remains an independent seller artifact with planned July pickup/shipping terms—not official DEF CON issuance, a Human badge, admission, confirmed recipient delivery, a fully audited detection device, an open-source license, or a rights-cleared image.

IEEE RFID 2026's official conference page advertised a complimentary twentieth-anniversary Bluetooth Low Energy badge, with 100 badges available. Its dedicated badge page identifies the active artifact as a custom-printed Minew MTB11 ambient-light-harvesting BLE tag. The source says that, when sufficiently charged from ambient light, it transmits a unique 48-bit identifier, battery voltage, and temperature in Bluetooth Low Energy advertisement packets. The technical-programme chairs' welcome confirms the June 16-18 Santa Fe conference occurred, but the sources do not establish individual receipt or final device state.

Pre-event independent BLE number-station puzzle badge for DEF CON 34
Station 562 is a source-conservative independent DEF CON 34 badge record from its public maker announcement. The project owner describes a proximity-controlled badge with a BLE number-station puzzle, red-versus-blue proximity game, autonomous social/dance mode, expressive BLE MIDI instrument, tamper-evident mode, Setup menu, and optional hardware CTF.
