Brooke's Bytes' live Uberflux listing identifies Agency Wand as an independently offered DEF CON 34 iteration of a wand-shaped badge first made for HackSpaceCon 2025. The current listing shows a $60 price, 19 remaining, 11 sold, PRE/DROP labels, and a DEF CON 34 BadgeLife Village drop listed for August 7 at 4 PM. It names an ATtiny1616, five reverse-mounted addressable LEDs, ambient/setup LEDs, two buttons, a CR2032, and exposed UART pins, while explicitly saying specifications and functionality may vary as fabrication and development continue. TrueControl's public documentation describes this as the second Wand iteration and publishes more DC34 hardware/firmware context, including a clearly labelled REV1 hardware-issue section. The sources support a distinct pre-event electronic badge record, not completed manufacture or handoff, DEF CON issuance or admission function, final stock/payment status, a universally safe device, final firmware parity, or reusable marketplace/repository images.

Small-batch pre-event RP2040 youth-coding giveaway badge for DEF CON 34
A late-July public r/Defcon post by u/ProfessionalPea2218 says its author has been designing and hand-soldering a small batch of badge PCBs to help launch Cyb3rBytes404, a self-described San Diego nonprofit for free hands-on youth coding and electronics projects. The author says the badges are not for sale and are intended for random giveaway throughout ‘the con.’ Separately, the public Cyb3rBytes404 GitHub repository calls itself the official repository for the cyber coding camp and documents a custom RP2040 cyber-cat badge, MicroPython starter material and challenges, an MPU-6050 motion module, and thirty WS2812 RGB LEDs. Its visible commit history places the reviewed README update on July 28, 2026. The shared project name supports a source-backed pre-event DEF CON 34 association, but it does not establish that the Reddit author controls the GitHub namespace, that every physical PCB matches the repository snapshot, final hardware, the run size, a completed giveaway, or a DEF CON-issued credential.
Pre-event RP2040 mechanical macropad BadgeLife project
DCZia's MK9 is a public-source 3×3 mechanical macropad intended as a neck-wearable DEF CON 34 BadgeLife project. Project documentation specifies nine MX switches, RGB per-key and edge lighting, an accelerometer, two 6-pin SAO connectors, USB-C or three-AAA power, CircuitPython firmware, and QMK-compatible hardware. A public August 2 announcement says the project plans BadgeLife pickup, but this remains a pre-event independent badge rather than an official DEF CON admission credential.
Pre-event FirstBuild / GE Appliances 100-free-badge washer/dryer motion giveaway project
FirstBuild's official DefCon34-Badge repository describes an Arduino-compatible FirstBuild / GE Appliances washer/dryer badge for DEF CON 34. Its README names a current production target of an STM32G031F8P6 with an MXC6655XA three-axis accelerometer and eight SK6805 side-emitting RGB LEDs, driving an infinity-mirror water effect that follows gravity. The repository publishes firmware, a schematic PDF, an MIT license for software and associated documentation, and a distribution guide that says the project is intended to be distributed as firmware installed on physical badges. A first-person r/Defcon post reviewed on 2026-08-05 says its public-account author is returning with the GE Appliances booth in IoT Village, has another 100 free badges to give away, and plans an unspecified number per day; it calls the item a cartoon UltraFast Washer/Dryer Combo with a motion-responsive infinity mirror. In a comment, the author says the artwork, PCB design, and software were done in-house at FirstBuild. That account statement does not independently establish the author's employment, formal FirstBuild or GE Appliances authority, official booth authorization, final stock, or completed handoff. GitHub still shows no release or tag, and the record remains a separate event-associated pre-event project, not the official DEF CON attendee credential or an image-reuse grant.
