It documents a custom ESP32-C3 conference board with a Bluetooth LE rock-paper-scissors game, high-level Wargames-themed UART and SAO CTF context, and KiCad, Gerber, BOM, and Arduino-style source material. The README also distinguishes the conference units' earlier firmware from later archived source behavior.

Brooke's Bytes' live Uberflux listing identifies Agency Wand as an independently offered DEF CON 34 iteration of a wand-shaped badge first made for HackSpaceCon 2025. The current listing shows a $60 price, 19 remaining, 11 sold, PRE/DROP labels, and a DEF CON 34 BadgeLife Village drop listed for August 7 at 4 PM. It names an ATtiny1616, five reverse-mounted addressable LEDs, ambient/setup LEDs, two buttons, a CR2032, and exposed UART pins, while explicitly saying specifications and functionality may vary as fabrication and development continue. TrueControl's public documentation describes this as the second Wand iteration and publishes more DC34 hardware/firmware context, including a clearly labelled REV1 hardware-issue section. The sources support a distinct pre-event electronic badge record, not completed manufacture or handoff, DEF CON issuance or admission function, final stock/payment status, a universally safe device, final firmware parity, or reusable marketplace/repository images.

It identifies an RP2354A main MCU, INA3221 I2C voltage/current/power monitor, ST7789 SPI display, six WS2812 RGB LEDs, navigation joystick/back button, UART/UPDI/I2C/5 V/3.3 V/debug breakouts, and a Defcon34 drop. The same current listing displayed $80, five remaining, and four sold. Badge.Life's current DC34 Village schedule independently lists Bread Badge by Tw0nkus in its Friday 1:30 PM badge-drop slot. This is enough evidence for a distinct, independently offered pre-event electronic badge associated with DEF CON 34, not proof that DEF CON issued it, that it is an admission credential, that inventory/payment/fulfillment figures are final, that a drop or handoff occurred, or that marketplace images are cleared for reuse.
Independent CH32V003 bare-metal UART crypto-puzzle badge offered toward DEF CON 34
K Badges' maker-controlled Tindie listing identifies Ouroboros as a $29.99 bare-metal RISC-V-assembly electronic badge on a CH32V003, with a custom UART cryptographic puzzle, a 12-LED Charlieplexed matrix, a circular single-layer PCB with exposed traces, and a hand-soldered two-AA configuration. Its August 4, 2026 storefront snapshot is out of stock; the seller says a new order is coming and hopes to bring some to DEF CON, rather than confirming units, arrival, pickup, or delivery. In a first-person r/Defcon announcement, the maker says they created the project and links the Tindie page and a GitHub technical explainer, while separately offering to arrange a DEF CON pickup by email for Tindie buyers. The product also makes 115200-baud puzzle, cryptographic-framework, low-power, and performance statements, but neither the product nor the maker-linked generic AVR framework establishes a released matching CH32V003 firmware or hardware package. This is a source-backed independent pre-event maker offering, not an official DEF CON badge, registration credential, confirmed fulfillment, verified cryptographic implementation, hardware-safety record, or reusable-image source.

Maker-documented ATtiny85 Hardware Village CTF badge soldered in Goa
The official Seasides and HW101 pages establish a Goa Hardware Hacking Village where people soldered take-home badges and worked on a hidden hardware/firmware challenge. A public project-owner archive calls a concrete board the Seasides 2026 Roulette Badge, says that more than 300 participants assembled it live, and publishes its C firmware, schematic, and Gerbers. The archive makes this a source-backed maker-documented instance of the village badge, but the official event pages do not independently name the Roulette design or confirm that every village or conference badge used that exact final configuration.
