BSides Lisbon 2026 Electronic Badge

BSides Lisbon's current official 2026 About page says the October 29-30 conference will have talks, networking, an electronic badge, and a CTF. The official home and location page place the planned event at Auditório Prof. Simões dos Santos in Lisbon, and the current team page lists Pedro Umbelino under Badge. A dedicated 2026 badge page now says the electronic badge comes with a badge competition across both days, was developed again by kripthor, and is sponsored by Bitsight, and asks attendees to bring a USB-C cable and a powerbank, plus a phone or laptop for the full experience. Further details are promised during the conference. This is a source-backed planned electronic-badge programme, not evidence of a completed board or its technical implementation.

A pre-event record for the PhreakNIC 27 badge ahead of the November 6-7, 2026 conference in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Tyler Crumpton's PN26 writeup announced a cooler MK.II electronic shelf-label badge, and the official PhreakNIC site now confirms it: a September 30, 2026 sneak peek describes a new frame, wireless features, a disk slot, and a LEGO-compatible customizable shutter slider; an October 9 schedule entry for his talk Shelf Label 2: Electric Badge-a-loo says the badge is built on the same recycled hardware as PN26's with conference customization, wireless communication, and battery-less operation; and an October 21 Badge Customizer lets attendees design and download STLs for their own floppy-disk shutter. Final electronics, firmware, and handout are not yet documented.
Hackaday Supercon 2026 Planned Badge

Hackaday's official August 13, 2026 ticket announcement says Supercon Ten admission includes a sweet hackable badge, and the September 12, 2026 newsletter adds that the badge is going to be bigger this year but that this is all organizers can say at this time. The July call for proposals schedules a Friday badge-hacking day and a Sunday badge-hack showcase. No controller, board, display, radio, firmware, or artwork has been published, so this is an organizer-confirmed planned badge rather than a revealed design.
