ESP32-C6 Epochalypse badge with ESP-NOW exploit-and-defense game
The BSidesLisbon 2025 electronic badge for the November 13-14, 2025 conference at Auditorio FMD-UL. The official about page announced it, the sponsors page names BitSight as Badge Sponsor, and kripthor's GPL-3.0 repository (February 9, 2026) publishes the BsidesLisbon2025_TheEpochalypse Arduino firmware and a preliminary hardware failure report. The firmware drives a 160x128 ST7735 colour display and six buttons and runs an ESP-NOW exploit-and-defense game between nearby badges. The 2026 programme calls the board an ESP32-C6 badge. The failure report says multiple badges failed during the event, some from reversed battery polarity and others in a way consistent with thermal runaway of the IP5305T boost and charger IC.
