Open Sauce 2026 Badge

SauceBot / Arduino Sopracciglio electronic badge with a post-event KiCad archive

Open Sauce 2026's SauceBot badge is documented by Caleb Marting's post-event public archive as an Arduino MKR Zero-compatible electronic badge with native KiCad sources, firmware, a microphone, button, red LEDs, battery holder, and optional Simple Add-On headers. The archive says at least two attendees hacked badges Saturday night and brought four new games on Sunday; an independent attendee firmware archive also describes receiving an eyebrow module and replacing the original Bop It-style firmware. Together the sources establish a real festival artifact and hands-on hacking trail, not a universal attendee allocation or organizer-owned source release.
