Issue dossier

The unlock switches flash encryption off, but the ROM's secure download mode and the disabled JTAG are permanent, so flash can be written but never read back and on-chip debugging is unavailable. Flashing needs the --no-stub and --no-compress options, and the unlock irreversibly erases the competition firmware and all stored data.

A linkable camp-impact record with badge context, severity, evidence confidence, and source notes.
