The pre-event badge record follows two Badge.Team sources that disagree: the homepage ambition of LoRa, a keyboard, a big screen, and an ESP32-P4, and the badgeteam/hackerhotel2027-hardware repository, in active layout work since September 2026, for a CH643 starfish-shaped LED-matrix board whose prototype-1 Gerber and assembly package was committed on October 22, 2026.

Badge.Team's homepage still promises LoRa, a keyboard, a big screen, and an ESP32-P4, while the official hardware repository's active design is a CH643 LED-matrix starfish with infrared and no screen, keyboard, or radio. The starfish reached a prototype-1 fabrication package on October 22, 2026, but neither source says whether it replaces the ESP32-P4 plan, is a second board, or is an interim prototype.

The record lists both descriptions with attribution and makes no claim about which hardware attendees will receive.
